A new beginning – new website, new chapter for Borgvardt Ure

Today feels like a milestone. After many months of work, adjustments, doubts, improvements, and anticipation, I can finally say it out loud: Borgvardt Ure has a brand new, state-of-the-art website. And that's not all – we are now also opening up for English version and worldwide delivery.

When I started Borgvardt Ure, it was never with the ambition of becoming big quickly. It started with a passion for mechanical watches, design, and the desire to create something that was my own. Since then, the journey has been filled with learning, mistakes, small victories, and big dreams. This new webshop feels like a new chapter in that journey.

The new website has been built with a focus on ease of use, design, speed, and international availability. It has been important to me that the Borgvardt online experience matches the experience I want people to have when they hold a watch in their hands: calm, quality, detail, and authenticity.

That we are now also launching a English webshop with worldwide shipping, means a lot to me personally. I have received inquiries from watch enthusiasts throughout Europe and outside the EU, and it has long been a dream of mine to be able to offer Danish mechanical watches for customers worldwide in a simple and professional manner.

All watches are still assembled by hand by me in Esbjerg – and even though the world is opening up more, that doesn't change the core of Borgvardt Ure: a Danish microbrand, built on craftsmanship, transparency, and respect for watchmaking traditions.

I am proud, humbled, and genuinely excited about what lies ahead. This is not an ending—it is a new step forward. And I look forward to seeing where the journey takes us from here.

Thank you for following us. Thank you for your support. And thank you for being part of our story.

Top 5 mechanical watches under $2,500

There's something special about mechanical watches. Not because they are the most precise, nor because they are the most practical. On the contrary, they require a little more. They need to be worn, moved and understood. But that's precisely what makes them interesting. A mechanical watch is alive. It's constantly working in the background, driven by your [...]

One of the things I'm still getting used to is how far a small watch brand from Esbjerg can go. When I started Borgvardt, it was with a pretty simple idea: to create watches that I wanted to wear myself. Not to hit a trend or follow a certain direction, but [...]

Why we love iconic watches from the 1960s and 1970s - and why they still shape Borgvardt today

There is something about watches from the 1960s and especially the 1970s that time has not been able to wear out. Quite the opposite, in fact. The further we move away from the period, the clearer it becomes how crucial these decades were to the modern men's watch we know and love today. When I design watches for Borgvardt, I often return to [...]
