Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Borgvardt. When you purchase products on our website, you accept our terms and conditions and are bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with our approach, please do not purchase from our website.
Our CVR number is 36282142. When we mention products, we refer to the products shown on www.borgvardt-ur.dk
Confirmation
Once we have received your order, we will automatically send you a confirmation to your email address. This confirms your purchase and cannot be canceled. It is important that you enter a correct email address when placing an order with us. Your order confirmation/receipt is also your warranty for the purchase and is valid for two years.
Payment
You can pay with a credit or debit card. Borgvardt does not store your card details.
Payment by card
Pay with your Mastercard, VISA, or Dankort. Your payments will be handled securely with encryption under high standards set by the banks. Your card details will be sent directly to the bank and cannot be read by anyone other than the bank. Borgvardt does not charge any additional fees for card payments, however, your own bank may charge a fee for using different cards, for which we are not responsible. When you enter your card details in our checkout, it is a good idea to approve the purchase as soon as possible. In the event that we have not received any payments, we will automatically cancel your order.
Discount coupon
The discount code must be entered during checkout in order for it to be valid. The code is only valid when entered before payment and cannot be used afterwards.
VAT & tax
All prices shown on Borgvardt, www.borgvardt-ur.dk include VAT in accordance with the Danish tax system. If you wish to purchase a product from our website and you reside outside the EU, please send us an email so that we can create a manual order without VAT.
Please note that customs duties and taxes will likely apply if you live outside the EU. As a consumer, you are responsible for paying any import duties and taxes that may apply, depending on the rules and laws of your country. We recommend that you contact your local tax authority for further information.
Order
Orders placed in another person's name without their consent will be reported to the police. Borgvardt reserves the right to change prices and correct incorrect prices on all orders, even after they have been entered. This means that if a price is incorrect, Borgvardt reserves the right to cancel the purchase and refund any amounts paid in the best possible way.
Customers have the right to return all orders within 14 days of receipt. Please refer to our Delivery & Returns section further down the page.
Warranty & Complaints
Warranty period: Two years from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects resulting from flaws or errors in the manufacture of a product (movement, case, crystals). Parts other than those mentioned above are not covered by this warranty, as they are consumable items (leather strap). To have any defects or faults covered, please send us an email at Lennart@borgvardt-ur.dk or use our “contact form.” Please specify your name, address, order number, and a detailed description of the problem. In the subject field, please write: Service: “followed by your order number.”.
Please note that repairs/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even if they are within the warranty period.
Faults or damage caused by incorrect use or carelessness. (Impacts, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.)
Fault or damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications.
Fault or damage caused by fire or water, or other natural disasters, such as earthquakes.
Natural changes that occur during normal wear and tear (minor scratches, deterioration of leather on the watch strap).
If the receipt is not with the watch.
The watch, dial, hands, crystal, leather strap, or other parts of the watch may be replaced with similar parts if the original parts are discontinued or no longer available.
This warranty guarantees that you can receive free replacement in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth herein and within the specified period, and shall not limit any legal rights of the customer.
Personal information
When you shop at Borgvardt, we store your data in order to complete your order. We treat all your data confidentially and with care. If any errors occur, we can never change or delete the information you have entered. Borgvardt may also use cookies to optimize our website.
Delivery & Returns
Borgvardt delivers throughout Europe. We work with reputable shipping companies to maintain the best possible service. As a buyer, you always have the right to return your purchased product. Please contact us by email or via our contact form within 14 days of receiving the product from Borgvardt.
We offer a full refund of the purchase price, excluding delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your Borgvardt. Send us an email and we will send you a return label that you can use to return the product. The return fee is up to DKK 150, which includes return shipping, handling, and inspection.
If you, as a customer, believe that the shipment is delayed to such an extent that you no longer wish to complete the order, it is your responsibility to notify us. If your order is not delivered by the transport company, you are entitled to receive a similar product.
Complaints
It is important that you, as a customer, carefully check your goods/products when you receive an order to confirm that the product is not damaged. If your product is damaged during transport (whether visible or hidden), you must respond as soon as possible to the shipping company. If you receive a product that is damaged or not what you ordered, you must contact us as soon as possible, within 14 days.
